RE: The School Program – 2009 - Update



Your are making it possible for 38 children to go to school this year, with “some help” being given to an additional 3 children who got here after the school year began. Thank you!



We’ve finished the initial phase – buying the school uniforms, supplies, shoes, backpacks, and rain gear.



Originally, we estimated that another $1,300 would be needed to finish buying the books. Several of the teachers at the Puerto Viejo school, where we send the biggest contingent of Bridge Kids, have begin making copies of the books available for the children in their classes. This drops our expected additional costs for this phase to $600 - $800!



Your donations to support this last “push” will be very timely, and very welcome!
