Como nos vamos para el tour de Amma este Junio, seria genial tener algunas personas visitando el Hogar Montiel mientras no estamos. Nos vamos del 1 de Junio al 3 de Julio. Si alguna persona tiene tiempo para ayudar con tutorias de Ingles, Matematica, Espanol, Ciencias, Estudios Sociales o Arte, seria de mucha ayuda. Tenemos 17 ninas y sus examenes se aproximan. Si usted sabe alguna actividad como arte, danza cocinar u hornear, a ellas les encantaria participar. Asi mismo, cualquier donacion de ropa o comida es siempre bien recibida. Por favor contacteme para darle la direccion. Hogar Montiel queda en Santa Ana, en el Barrio Rio de Oro, cerca de Forum. Las ninas regresan del colegio despues de las 2pm, y se quedan durante los fines de semana. El numero de telefono del hogar es 2288-7868. Ellas solamente hablan espanol, por lo tanto si usted habla espanol puede solicitar la direccion y averiguar cual es la mejor hora para asistir de forma directa.

El Hogar Magdala tambien necesita asistencia para poder alimentar 16 ninos con discapacidad. Cualquier comida, ropa o donaciones de medicamentos son muy apreciadas. Usualmente asistimos los miercoles para ayudar con la alimentacion a las 11:30am. Este Hogar esta ubicado en Alajuelita, justo antes de las Instalaciones de RTV, por lo tanto es cerca de Escazu.

As we are leaving for tour with Amma this June, it would be great to have a few people visit Hogar Montiel while we are gone. We will be gone from June 1st to July 3rd. If anyone has time to help with tutoring in English, Math, Spanish, Science, Social Studies or Art, that would be so helpful. We have 17 girls now and they have exams coming up. If you have an activity such as Art, Dance or even cooking or baking, they would love your participation. Also any food and/or clothing donations are always welcome. Please contact me and I can give directions. Hogar Montiel is in Santa Ana in the Barrio Rio Oro, near The Forum. The girls are back from school after 2pm, and are there during the weekends. The phone number for the Hogar is 2288-7868. However they only speak Spanish. If you do speak Spanish you can ask them for directions and a good time to come directly.

Hogar Magdala will also need help with feeding 16 disabled chidren. Any kind of food, clothing or medicines donated are very much appreciated. We generally go on Wednesdays to help with the feeding of the 11:30 meal. This Hogar is located in Alajuelita just before the RTV. So it is close to Escazu.
