Beneficios del Mantra
*El número de mantras a recitar diariamente depende de la persona y del mantra, hay mantras cortos y hay mantras largos.
*Cada persona debe elegir un número y cantarlos, esto le ayudará a disciplinarse. Esto evita chismear, evita que pierdas el tiempo. Concentra tu mente en Dios.
*Cuando el Maestro da el mantra a un discípulo, le da parte de su energía, y al recitarlo, esta energía crece, crece, y crece,... lo que le lleva a la Meta final.
*Por ejemplo de un poco de yogur, de mucha leche hacemos yogur, pues el mantra igual.
*El recitar el mantra es muy efectivo para el camino espiritual, para el camino de interiorización.
*El mantra es una semilla indestructible.
*Sólo un verdadero Maestro nos podrá dar un mantra efectivo.
*Podemos cantar el mantra permanentemente, y así mantenemos la mente en Dios, así el apego hacia el mundo se va reduciendo, así vamos comprendiendo más el camino y el acercamiento a Dios.
*Con el mantra nos hacemos más conscientes, nos damos cuenta de cuan importantes con las pequeñas cosas.
*Supongamos que un caballo o una gallina corren enloquecidos, no tiene sentido correr tras ellos. Si les mostramos la comida que les gusta se darán cuenta y volverán, les atraparemos y les volveremos al corral.
*De manera similar al recitar el mantra, la mente no se pone a divagar, está más calma.
*El mantra no son sólo palabras, el mantra tiene mucho poder.
*Si alguien nos halaga o nos amonesta nos pone contentos o tristes, y son simples palabras.
*Imaginarse las palabras de un mantra.
*Todas las acciones hechas venerando o recordando a Dios se transforman en oración.
*Incluso limpiar un desagüe se puede transformar en una puja, si lo hacemos cantando el mantra.
*El mantra es como los cubos que nos ayudan a sacar el agua del pozo, para finalmente ir más allá de la dualidad.
*El mantra nos ayudará a fundirnos con la Conciencia Universal.
*Normalmente estamos despiertos de día y dormimos de noche, cuando lo transmutamos todo es Luz.
*Se dice que Shiva es el primer Gurú.
*A pesar de que Dios está en la puerta, no lo vemos, estamos dormidos.
*El mantra nos ayuda a comprender la espiritualidad adecuadamente.
*Del mala, el rudraska del Gurú, la perla del Gurú, no se tiene que traspasar nunca, es la perla del Conocimiento, y significa que no es posible trascender al Gurú. Al llegar al final donde se encuentra la perla del Gurú, volver a empezar, yendo hacia atrás, y el último rudraska se vuelve el primero.
*Hasta que traspasemos el ego, tenemos que ser humildes, un poco de humildad.
*El rol del Gurú es importante y significante.
*Deberíamos pronunciar el mantra hasta poderlo repetir en cada inspiración, en cada espiración.
*El mantra se llega a transformar en parte de uno mismo, y entonces se canta continuamente.
*Las prácticas externas nos ayudan a entrar más hacia dentro.
RESUMEN
Amma nos habla muchas veces del mantra, a nivel de recomendación.
En mis siete años escuchando directamente su palabra y recopilándola, le he oído varias veces hablar de la importancia del mantra.
Evidentemente Amma se refiere al mantra personal con el que nos inicia un Maestro verdadero. El mantra con el que Ella nos inicia.
Pero si alguien no tiene mantra personal de Amma o de algún Maestro verdadero, puede practicar hasta que decida tenerlo, el:
Om Namah Shivaya que significa: me inclino ante Dios o
Aum Amriteshwaryai Namah: que significa: me inclino ante la Diosa de la eterna felicidad.
A estos mantras les falta la sílaba o sílabas semilla, pero ya van educando a la mente a concentrarse, lo cual es sumamente positivo.
La verdadera meditación es tener la mente concentrada en un solo punto. En los ocho pasos de la escalera de Patánjali, la meditación es el séptimo paso, mente totalmente concentrada en un solo punto, el octavo ya es samadhi, la comunión con Dios.
Todo lo que no sea estar absortos en un solo punto no es meditar, es prepararnos para meditar.
Y cuando esta concentración en un solo punto, toma forma de Dios, llegamos al samadhi, nos fundimos con la Madre Divina.
Y a esto nos ayuda el mantra Om Namah Shivaya el mantra Aum Amriteshwaryai Namah.
Es muy importante cada cosa que hacemos, hacerla con total concentración, con total atención, pues esto es pura meditación.
Un profesor de matemáticas ha de estar muy concentrado para transmitir una delicada lección de matemáticas, lo mismo que el alumno, para recoger la información que luego tendrá que estudiar.
¿Cuán de concentrado está un cirujano al entrar en el quirófano para operar?
Esta concentración es vivir el presente. Vive el momento presente intensamente y el futuro se hará cargo de sí mismo.
Concéntrate con el paso que estés dando, cada paso lleva la luz que alumbra el próximo.
Si tenemos un mantra personal con el que nos ha iniciado un Maestro que sepamos que es verdadero.
Estos mantras contienen sílabas semilla, y al recitarlas, al pronunciarlas, activamos estas semillas, nos conectamos con la energía del Maestro, introducimos paz en nuestro interior.
De hecho cuando recitamos el mantras con el que nos ha iniciado un Maestro verdadero, nos conectamos con la energía cósmica más pura del Universo.
Es una conexión de nuestra energía vital, nuestra propia alma se conecta con el OM el sonido cósmico que sostiene el Universo.
Y como ahí hay sólo pureza, pues este es el efecto que produce el pronunciar repetidamente el mantra día y noche: Purificación.
Esta Purificación se traduce en que nuestra mente va estando paulatinamente menos alterada, hay menos velocidad en la misma, la paz va tomando cuerpo en nuestra vida.
Este es el poder del mantra.
Estos son los beneficios del mantra.
El mantra, junto con el seva es una de las prácticas estrella en las enseñanzas de Amma.
Y esto es así porque es una conexión con lo Divino, con nuestro interior, una conexión que podemos establecer durante casi todo el día y hasta incluso por la noche, mientras dormimos. Y esto se traduce en calidad de vida.
Durante el día siempre que no estemos haciendo algo que requiera toda nuestra atención toda nuestra concentración, podemos recitar el mantra.
Si por la noche los últimos 5 minutos antes de dormirnos, recitamos el mantra y nos dormimos recitándolo, desde el subconsciente lo estaremos recitando durante toda la noche, estaremos conectados con la paz eterna.
Es sumamente importante perseguir al mantra hasta que lo integramos en nuestro ser, como si fuera un órgano más de nuestro ser, como si fuera un órgano más de nuestro cuerpo, una pierna, un brazo, la nariz,...
Si integramos el mantra en nuestro ser, es como si nos enchufamos a la Fuente.
A más tiempo enchufados a la Fuente, más tiempo de nuestra vida funcionará de acuerdo a los deseos de la Madre Divina, más felices seremos.
Amma dice, que si pronunciamos el mantra con perseverancia, con devoción, nuestra cara pasa por la pantalla de su mente.
Y estar en la mente del Gurú es lo más grandioso que nos puede ocurrir, porque Él es el principio y el fin. Su energía nos llega potencialmente a nosotros.
En cierta ocasión al principio de los siete años que viví en Amritapuri, Amma todavía daba Devi Bhavas allí, y en noche de Devi Bhava me solía sentar en el stage detrás de Amma, no muy lejos, ni muy cerca de Ella, y en estas noches que estaba allí hasta que Ella me lo permitía, mi práctica era observar las caras de la gente que daba dharsan Amma, y no hay una igual que otra y recitar el mantra mientras abría y cerraba los ojos. Y en un momento dado cuando estaba abriendo los ojos, Amma se dio la vuelta y me miró fijamente.
El mensaje que recibí fue: “Sé lo que estás practicando”
Es una vivencia que entronca con la Omnipresencia de Sus enseñanzas.
Uno de los sevas (trabajos voluntarios) que hacía en Amritapuri era explicar el significado del mantra a las personas de habla hispana que Amma iniciaba con el mantra.
En algunas ocasiones se sumaban a los coros de explicación personas que ya habían recibido el mantra con anterioridad simplemente para refrescar la información. Y algunas de ellas al compartir esta vivencia del mantra con Amma, compartieron: a mí me ha ocurrido también; estando practicando el mantra cerca de Amma, Ella me ha hecho saber que estaba alerta de ello.
Esta es la muestra del poder y de los beneficios que aporta la práctica del mantra, así es como nos ganamos estar en la Conciencia del Maestro.

Si queremos estar en la Conciencia del Maestro, debemos seguir sus recomendaciones, y Amma nos recomienda recitar el mantra todo el tiempo que podamos.
Así es como recibiremos los grandes beneficios del mantra.
De hecho el mantra tiene la capacidad de cambiar nuestras vidas, el mantra tiene la capacidad de que leamos la vida de diferente manera.
El mantra tiene la capacidad de que leamos nuestra vida desde la comprensión de que todo lo que nos ocurre es para nuestro bien, lo que nos aproxima mucho más a la aceptación, y cuando estamos más cerca de la aceptación, estamos más lejos del sufrimiento.

Benefits of Mantra
